AGRI 002, Foundations: Information Technology
  1. Teach two 75 minute lectures per week with (159 students).
  2. Teach one 2-hour lab per week (11 students)
AGRI 85, Computer Applications in Agriculture and Life Sciences:
  1. Teach one 75-minute lecture per week (37 students).
  2. Teach one 2-hour lab per week (18 students).
  3. Arrange tutors for challenged students.

AGRI 125, TA Development

  1. Instruct Teaching Assistants for AGRI 002 Foundations labs (18 Students).
Coordinate Morrill Hall Computer Laboratory
  1. Interview, hire, schedule, and oversee 14 workstudy student lab assistants.
  2. Maintain web pages of lab assistant responsibilities , phones/e-mails , and work schedule .
  3. Schedule all classes for the lab and maintain schedule web page at http://www.uvm.edu/~jleonard/labsched.html .
  4. Maintain all computers and network connections in the lab. Responsible for all repairs and upkeep of lab hardware and software.
  5. Coordinate replacement and upgrades of hardware and software.

Service

  1. CALS Self-Design Major Committee 2002-Present.
  2. CALS Curriculum Committee 1999-Present (currently Chair).
  3. CDAE Curriculum Committee Fall 2005-Present (Chair).
  4. Advise 23 CDAE students and CALS undecided students.
  5. CALS IT Projects: Consultant, CALS Core Curriculum and CATS online undergraduate major checklist.
  6. Faculty advisor for the Folk/Traditional/Bluegrass music club, and the Triathalon club.
