This tank has 3 Melanotaenia boesmani, tons of snails and a huge ball of java moss. There were 5 fish originally, but i've only seen 3 recently, unfortunately. The tank is poorly situated, sitting sideways on a desk, so that I can hardly see into it through all the java moss. I will soon release the three remaining fish into the big planted tank, freeing this tank up for something else. The snails are doing well - they keep the moss in check, keep the tank free of algae, and eat all the uneaten flakes from the bottom (this tank has no gravel - many of our tanks are bare, actually).
