CALS ito consists of a group of computer specialists who can:

• Assist with the development of information technology in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the Vermont Agricultural Experiment Station.
• Recommend and provide information technology training opportunities
• Provide direction and project management for the design and implementation of information and communication systems.

How to get help :

• IT support for CALS faculty and staff members: Use the web-based help program Footprints to make your request. Information about using footprints is available from the Footprints login screen or refer to the CALS help reference.

• IT Training Opportunities and referral for other available training options:
  Jonathan Leonard offers Workshops in the Morrill Hall computer lab. He also teaches AGRI 85 and faculty and staff are invited to enroll in this course or sit in on one or more labs during the spring or fall semester.

  University Training & Development offers a number of courses and workshops to assist UVM faculty and staff in learning new skills to enhance their current positions, and to continue their education. You are strongly encouraged to take advantage of these classes! Check for new listings each semester.
  
  Our office offers one-on-one or small group training sessions on many topics by scheduled appointment. Please email Stefanie.Ploof@uvm.edu to discuss your needs and set up training time. If our department is unable to assist with your training needs we will help you connect with the appropriate resource.

   

• The CALS web presence at UVM.
  The CALS web site provides links to academic departments, interdisciplinary academic programs, research and outreach programs and facilities, and related College information. Each department and program is asked to identify a person to oversee the content and maintenance for each of the CALS linked sites.
