Free Computing Workshops January 6-10, 2003 for CALS Faculty, Staff and Graduate Students
Workshop 1: Online Advising Tools. How to find the Core Curriculum Documents. How to look up which courses in CALS fulfill which Core Requirements. How to update your own course material so others will know what Core Requirements your course fulfills. How to create and keep online checklists of your student advisees. Tuesday January 7, 2003. Workshop 4: Intro & Intermediate Web Page construction. Learn HTML tags to construct a web page with text, pictures, backgrounds, & links. Publish on your page on zoo. How to put your syllabus on the web. How to use Netscape Composer. Friday Jan 10, 9:30-11:30am in the Morrill Computer Lab. Taught by Jonathan Leonard. Note: PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A ZOO ACCOUNT AND KNOW THEIR LOGIN NAME AND PASSWORD.
