--Introduction--
     Jambo Sixth Graders!!! (If you didn't know, jambo means hello is Swahili, one of the languages of Kenya!!) Did you know that Kenya is located in the Great Rift Valley of Africa? Well if you didn't, your about to go on the journey of a lifetime!!!

 --The Challenge--
     You have just been hired to work in a travel agency and your client is interested in visiting Kenya and the Great Rift Valley. Before they book their trip, they want to know a few things about their destination. (Click here to print off a worksheet that will help you gather your information).Here is what they want to know:

---How was the Great Rift Valley formed?
---What is rifting?
---How has Kenya's geography changed because of the rifting?
---Find out the following about Kenya: climate, terrain, highest and lowest points, and natural resources
---One on Kenya's environmental issues is desertification...what is desertification?

     Once you have collected all the information, create a PowerPoint, poster, brochure, or report to inform your clients about Kenya and the Great Rift Valley. Make sure to use correct spelling and complete sentences. Be creative and have fun with it!!!
