Your Project...

Now that you have researched food chains and food webs, you are going to build your own food chain. There are two choices for the project, pick one.
Choice 1:

Use a flow chart (a chart used to show a step-by-step process) to create a food chain that includes the animal that you researched.

Choice 2:
Use paper strips to create links which will form a chain that includes the animal you researched. You need to create a producer link, a first level consumer link, a second level consumer link and a third level consumer link.

For both choices, your food chain needs to include a producer, first level consumer, second level consumer and a third level consumer.

Remember when you're learning about food chains/food webs that it always starts with plants, then an animal/insect that eats plants, a predator, a bigger predator, an even bigger predator and keeps going.
