The Great Lakes

Ms. VdG's Second Grade Travel Agency

Welcome

Your friend Bob is taking a trip to the Great Lakes region of the United States. He has never been there before and doesn't know anything about the area. On his trip, Bob wants to see each of the lakes and do or see something new at each one.

Bob has asked you to be his travel agent. He has given you a map of the lakes that is not labeled. He would like you to label the names of the lakes on the map. He would also like you to find one interesting fact about each lake.

Your Challenge

Have the blank map and fact sheet with you at the computer. This is your travel agent notebook, so write neatly. Using different sites on the web, you will fill in the name of each lake and an interesting fact about each one. Have fun and remember, your friend Bob is counting on you!
