Space Explorers!

Greetings
Earthlings!
I am
Quasar. I come from a planet far, far
away.
We have been
trying to study the planets in your solar
system,
but our telescopes are not powerful enough to
see them. A solar system is the planets that surround
a star. I believe you call your star “the sun.”
I need your
help to learn about these planets!
You have
been chosen by the governments on Earth
to help
Quasar with his quest. We already know a
lot
about our
planets. Your job is to find that
information
and write
a summary on each planet.
Quasar’s Questions
1. How many planets are there and what are their
names?
2. What is the weather like on the other
planets? Think about
things like temperature. Does the planet have storms?
3. How long is a day on the other planets? How long is a year?
4. How big is each planet?
5. Find one fact you find interesting about each
planet you think
Quasar would like to
know?
Where to Find Information
Below are
websites about planets. You will be able

notes
on what you
find. Good luck!
