‘Helping employees’. This is the primary purpose of the Human Resource Services and Affirmative Action unit. Our objective is to ‘be there’ for employees, whether they call, email, or arrive at our door.
As the face of the Human Resources function for our campus customers, we serve employees seeking information, advice, and consultation on personal and professional matters. The majority of these are recruitment and benefit related. We are here to listen, and we are here to help.
We also offer assistance to employees in their supervisory role. Employee supervision can be very rewarding, but it is never easy. We are here for our university supervisors as a resource, sounding board, and advisor to help them understand and navigate university policy, procedure, and best practices.
