This colonial revival building has had an additional apartment complex added to the back of the building. The pediment over the door is one of the only remaining characteristics that may be authentic from the nineteenth century. The main entrance is located in the front façade, but the additions also have individual entrances located on the north façade.
Margaret Kennedy lived in this home during the years 1901 through 1906. [7] In 1906, Mrs. Nellie Scott moved into 71 Rose Street with no specific career mentioned. [8]
