29 Murray Street

This federal style building has very little detail added to it.  It has a gable front roof, with a single window dominating the half story.  The foundation of this building is stone, and brick painted red dominates the exterior.  There has been an addition added to the building at a later date, as evident from the materials used.

Between 1886 through 1887, a Frank W. Dole lived at this residence. [13]   Dole was a cabinetmaker, and his office was located at 8 Winooski Avenue.  Frank W Jr. also resided at 29 Murray, and was employed by the Steamer Vermont.  There was also a Nellie O. Dole who lived in the home during this period, but no career was mentioned.  By 1901, a Miss Ann Cannon, along with a Miss Nora Cannon were residing at 29 Murray. [14]   No mention of careers for either of these women was given in the directory.
