27 Bright Street

27 Bright Street faces east in the upper part of the Old North End.  It shows up on the 1869 Beers Atlas Map of Burlington as an ell-shaped footprint belonging to Miller. Multiple additions were added before the turn of the century.  The 1900 Sanborn Insurance Map of Burlington shows two additions to the rear and a small one-story porch was built along the front elevation.  It now serves as the main entrance to the house. The 1901 Burlington City Directory gives the name Philip Mohr as an occupant, a mason.  Ten years later Abraham Fleischmann and J. Max Agel lived here.
