516 St. Paul Street

This home is the 1869 home of Latham Truman. It is thought to have been constructed around 1855.(1) In 1890 the map indicates that this home is owned by A. P. Truman. This property had several occupants in the first half of the twentieth century. Among these inhabitants was a janitor at the Fletcher Free Library, an employee of Adsit Coal Co., and a clerk at W. C. Reynolds Department Store on Church Street.(2)
