This is the John McGrath home of 1869. The occupant in 1890 is Mrs. O.G. Wheeler. The house is thought to date from around 1860.(1) In 1865 John McGrath was employed as a carpenter.This home has passed through several owners over the years. Among the occupants have been an advertising manager for the Burlington Daily News, and the proprietor of a carriage and blacksmith shop.(2)
