while assisting Dr. Perry in planting his test beds located in the Perennial
Collection at the Hort. Farm.

Presenter: Dr. Mark Starrett, UVM Plant & Soil Science. Join Dr.
Starrett for an in depth look at one of the more popular landscaping
choices. These vibrant red berries attract people, birds and animals alike.

Elegant Structures in Garden Design
Presenter: Ann Milovsoroff, landscape architect, Horsford Nurseries;
formerly of the Royal Botanical Gardens, Hamilton, Ontario.
Anne will show how well-designed architectural and sculptural elements make
a backyard planting into a garden that is both inspiring and satisfying
through spatial definitions.
