The End of the Fall Semester in the Honors College

The time after Thanksgiving and before winter break is a whirlwind of academic activity as students rush to finish final projects, put the finishing touches on their last papers, and prepare for their final exams. To help you keep track of all the activity, a calendar of events has been provided.

December 7: The final Honors College Social of the fall 2010 semester will take place in the University Heights North kitchen and will feature Student Leadership Coordinator Cait Bjellsquist's famous macaroni and cheese.

December 9: Last day of classes

December 10-17: Reading and Final Exams. Students should consult with their professors and with the Registrar for information on where and when their final exams will be. In addition, students will have Friday, December 10, Sunday, December 12, and Wednesday December 15 as reading days.

December 12: Honors College faculty members Guillermo Rodriguez and Sharyl Toscano will be hosting a Chili Night in the University Heights North Multipurpose Room.

December 14: Therapy Dogs of Vermont will make a special visit to Honors College students as they prepare to finish up their final exams.

December 15: Pancake Breakfast, University Heights North. Honors College students can start their final reading day with a pancake breakfast prepared by the Honors College staff in the University Heights North kitchen. Pancakes will be served beginning at 10 a.m.
