National Register Nomination
St. George's Catholic Church, formerly known as South Academy, has been nominated to the National Register of Historic Places. The National Register was established by the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, and is administered by the National Parks Service in the U.S. Department of the Interior.
This nomination has been completed by Sarah E. Wilcke, a graduate student in the Historic Preservation Program at the University of Vermont.
