Kathleen is the History Department Administrative Assistant and provides student information and administrative support to a large academic department. She assigns advisers to undergraduate and graduate students and provides administrative support to the Historic Preservation program and the History Department. Her duties include supervising 7 work-study students and managing the front office.

Kathleen has been with the History Department for approximately 5 years. She previously worked in a business environment and is glad to be working among faculty and staff at UVM. She grew up in Dearborn, Michigan, but has been living in Vermont for 24 years.

Kathleen enjoys walking, scrapbooking, kayaking, bowling, and spending time with her family. She has a little cairn terrier (like Toto in the Wizard of Oz), Marcy, who would steal anyone’s heart in a moment.
