UVM HERS Institute Program

A Unique Opportunity for Aspiring Women Leaders

The University of Vermont is proud to be a longtime supporter of the HERS Wellesley Institute for Women in Higher Education, an intensive professional development experience for women faculty and staff.

Professional Development for Women Interested in Higher Education Administration

Offered over the course of four weekends during the academic year, the HERS Wellesley Institute brings together a diverse group of approximately 70 women faculty and administrative leaders to share their multiple perspectives and learn under the guidance of women leaders in higher education, national organizations, government, and foundations. This program is ideal for mid-career women who aspire to careers in higher education administration.
