The University of Vermont Ice Hockey Club Mission Statement

The UVM Men's Ice Hockey Club serves the role of the University's 3rd ice hockey team. The mission of this organization is to provide an avenue for high level non-varsity ice hockey players to continue to play competitive full-contact ice hockey while representing their school. Founded in 2001, our club is well organized, highly competitive and represents the University in an honorable and motivated manner. We are a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association's Division 2. ACHA is the governing entity of all nationally recognized ice hockey clubs throughout the country. We are also an full member of the Northeast Collegiate Hockey Association. NECHA is one of the Northeast's collegiate ice hockey club governing entities. Its member teams are affiliates of ACHA's Division 2. Unlike many ice hockey clubs, we don't charge admission at our home events. Our games are always exciting and a great way to spend a few hours. Please come support our non-scholarship student athletes as they represent the University of Vermont on the ice.
