Class Web Sites from a Student's Point of View: What makes a good one? (Use this rubric on your own course site!)

it is easy to update (keep files that change and files that don't seperate)





important information is clearly available (brevity is a plus)





it is  situated: the information represents what the class is doing





it is personalized: real people live here, not just cogs in a machine





it is clear when the course was created and updated (dates are on the page)





it is clear how to get back to the "top" of the course site from any subsidiary page
