Things to Do

1) Create Your HTML files

Type and save your files, then turn them into HTML files by adding HTML tags.

Or view someone else's Web pages and use View: Source to open a copy. Edit as desired and save.

2) Add background colors and images, if you choose

Background color information can be found at: http://www.missouri.edu/%7Ec588349/colormaker-resources.html

Icons, balls, and lines can be found at: http://www.uvm.edu/icon/

Some Clip art can be found at: http://clever.net/graphics/clip_art/clipart.html

And don't forget that you can always link to any image on the Web by including it's address in the "img src= " tag. Find the address with Mac Netscape by pointing to the picture and holding down the mouse button. Then choose "Copy this Image Location." Find the address with Windows Netscape by pointing to the picture and pressing the right mouse button. Then choose "Copy this Image Location."

3) Test your files locally

Start Netscape and go to File: Open File. Find your first file, open it, then check your links to other files.

4) Publish your files on the Web

You will need to put your files on a Web server. Right now we offer that capability through moose. To use moose as your server:
