Global Village Courses
The Global Village offers a variety of one-credit courses that are designed to offer students the opportunity to engage at various levels.
- The Passport Class
- A largely self-paced class that is required of all first-time Global Village residents during their first or second semester.
- The class will feature a number of "Common Hour" gatherings supplemented by a variety of educational activities with global cultural themes.

- Great Decisions
- A national, civic-education program that encourages participants to learn about U.S. foreign policy and global issues.
- Optional for students who have completed the Passport Class.

- Exploring Art and Culture through the Fleming Museum
- A collobartive service-learning leadership seminar offered together with the Arts Initiative Residential Learning Community.
- Optional for students who have completed the Passport Class.

- Global Pathways and Careers Seminar
- This seminar draws on a variety of readings and resources to provide students with an increased sense of direction and concrete action steps to pursue.
- Optional for students who are in the Global Village, please note that this course does not replace the Passport course but is an additional option.
