2012 Application Fee and Tuition
Application Fee: $60 by March 15, 2012 ($80 after March 15, 2012)
This non-refundable fee is required at time of application. No applications will be processed without receipt of this fee. The application fee may be mailed to the festival address (4132 Snyder Dr., Winston-Salem, NC 27127) or paid by credit card here:
Resident Tuition: $3800 (in addition to application fee)
Tuition includes lodging, 3 meals a day, all
lessons and classes.
Resident Tuition Payment Schedule:
- $2100 payment, due May 1, 2012
- $1700 balance, due
June 1, 2012
Tuition payments must be made by check or money order, payable to GMCMF and mailed to the festival office at 4132 Snyder Dr., Winston-Salem, NC 27127. Credit card payments for tuition cannot be accepted. Students awarded scholarship should deduct half the scholarship amount from each of the above (May 1 and June 1) payments.
Commuter Tuition: $2600 (in addition to application fee)
Students with a local residence may choose the
commuter tuition option. Tuition includes two meals a day (lunch and
dinner), all lessons and classes.
Commuter Tuition Payment Schedule:
- $1400 payment, due May 1, 2012
- $1200 balance, due
June 1, 2012

Credit card payments for tuition cannot be accepted. Students awarded scholarship should deduct half the scholarship amount from each of the above (May 1 and June 1) payments.
Students who wish to park their car on campus must purchase a parking pass from the University of Vermont upon arrival at the festival.
The festival provides
a limited amount of scholarship assistance to
qualified students who cannot afford the full cost of tuition.
