A huge storm kept winter alive over the weekend of March 21/22, 1998.  Once the white stuff started falling, it didn't stop until early Monday morning.
That's the joy of Vermont weather… you just never know what will be falling next. In fact, the following weekend temperatures reached into the mid 70's, and the snow left the ground in a rush of water and MUD!  Perhaps spring has finally arrived, bu t it is still early… I bet that we will see more of the evil white stuff before we can truly say "Spring has sprung!"
