7:30 am call time. The morning began as usual. Wardrobe, hair, makeup,
props, breakfast.... They feed us very well on this shoot. There is always
food available, whether in extras holding or at the craft tent on set. We
all constantly graze when not shooting! The morning is spent shooting a
scene with Kevin and Will and some photo doubles.
We often had to move from our positions in the scene to allow water trucks
to spray down the ground to keep the dust from becoming intolerable or
interfering with the shooting.
We extras did have a chance today to tour the train, which is an amazing
setpiece itself. The details are fascinating and exquisite, and definitely
"blockbuster" caliber.
We returned to holding for lunch, and then were wrapped after lunch to
avoid a spectacular rainstorm, complete with lightning. It was a nice
Saturday afternoon gift! Many of the extras were told that their scenes
were finished. Others were asked to return on Monday to shoot a retake of
the Friday scenes. We were also read a letter from the executive producer
about a breach of confidentiality that occurred, allowing some vital plot
points to become public knowledge. Warner Brothers were not happy. Wrap
time 4:30.
The info that Warner's is upset about can be found here at the Ain'n-It-Cool-News Web Site.
Be warned... here there be SPOILERS!!!
