Program Performance Indicators

The C&D waste dashboard can be used to assess the progress of C&D waste management currently at UVM. It uses a set of indicators that show progress of the program based on data related to the indicators. The dashboard also sets short and long term goals for the university and managers must work to meet those goals. By setting indicators, collecting related data, and striving to meet goals UVM is held accountable for C&D waste. Managers must maintain continuous improvement in order to meet the established goals.

Different goals were set for large projects (bigger than X amount) and small projects and renovations (lower than X amount)as best management practices differe for each. Through this EMS the university hopes to reuse and recycle waste effectively.
