Why the series of the American movies like Dallas and Dynasty are so popular in the world?
The heroes in those movies are always good looking and rich; they live in big houses, wear elegant cloths and drive in expensive cars.
In (the) lives of those heroes there is much melodrama and romantics. But in their families there are also many problems: wives that leave husbands, kids that don't know who their parents are, and more. The heroes in these movies are rich, but not always happy. The psychologists say:" the people who look at the movies are happy to see, that also to rich people there are many problems". 
PhD Tamar Libess from the program of Communication at the Hebrew University says that these series are like modern myths, that tell about the family life about troubles and problems of people. She thinks that the shows are popular all over the world because they are very simple, and their stories have no end; always it is possible to start again with a lot of money and a little bit of luck.
