Summer skiing at SASS

Have you thought about SASS
Are you tired of only skiing twice a week during the harsh east coast winter. Well, your prayer has been answered. Now, through the South American Snow Sessions (SASS) you can head down to Argentina to ski the Andes during the North American summer. In the southern hemisphere this resort is well known for attracting tourists and students from Argentina and Brazil, but is relatively underrated on the global level. Catedral casts its shadow over the city of Bariloche, where SASS has made their base.
Stepping off the bus in the morning , the suns rays illuminate the mountain revealing every possibility; open woods, steep tails, large bowls, challenging backcountry and a unique park. All 3,772 vertical feet are for the taking and accessible by 39 lifts and if your still not satisfied gnarlier terrain is just a short hike away. From the top the panoramic view looks like a jig-saw puzzle consisting massive lakes and towering Andes peaks from both Argentina and Chile.
Satisfy your craving for snow by considering any of three sessions offered by SASS. They start July 20th to August 31st and are divided into three sessions lasting fifteen days each. The SASS staff is an enthusiastic collection of personalities from all over the globe, who live for the thrill of going down a mountain and share their knowledge with others. For those interested in getting ahead in there school work, SASS offers College credit.
