Hey all you beautiful people, Here are the notes from last night meeting if you missed it! Next monday is our first BIG event: Condoms and Cupcakes! Its is a queer friendly safe space where we will be giving away free condoms and cupcakes to the public, after there will be a safe sex demo as well. It is September 22, Billings North Lounge from 8-10. If you are interested in making cupcakes before hand and setting up before hand PLEASE email me back. This Sunday (September 21), people will be making cupcakes. Below is the list we already have. Dylan Kunkel As you can all probably tell there are still lots of openings for people to sign up and we have to make SO MANY cupcakes, so if you are interested, please email me back ? Another upcoming event: As a group we are invited to participate in homecoming weekend. Last meeting some interest was showed in participating. We could do anything from marching down the street dressed in rainbows or making a float. It would be from 12:00-2:00 on October 4th. Ideas for other events: RETREAT?!? Possibly during October? We will plan what we want to do after condoms and cupcakes. There are two new officer positions Publicity coordinator: The officer gets Free to Be?s name out on campus, publicizes different events by emails and table tents. Who?s running: Scott Novotny First year assistant: Position that is open to first years who want to get involved in Free to be as a leadership position. In this position you will learn various things other officers do, and how to make a club a positive place for all members. You also try and get other first years involved with the club. Who?s running: Anthony Baez If you are interested in running don?t be shy! We won?t have the vote for a few weeks. Cookies cocoa and queers meets every Wednesday 4:00-5:00 in the Allen house. An event where you hang out and eat freshly baked cookies. ALSO Next week we will have our first Hearts not Parts meeting. Hearts not parts is the student run bisexual pansexual ally group on campus. We will be meeting on National Bisexuality day September 23rd in the Allen house at 7:00. Maybe we?ll even have a little shindig with pizza or something. YAAYY free to be!!
