THE FLEMING MUSEUM PRESENTS
FLEMING MUSEUM RECEIVES PUBLICATION AWARDS
BURLINGTON, VT -- The Fleming Museum announced today that, for the third consecutive year, the institution was awarded
Publication Awards by the New England Museum Association 2005 Competition. This year, the Fleming Museum won two awards
for publications created in 2004 and designed by firms in Chittenden County.
According to NEMA's executive director, Katheryn Veins, "The Judges were extremely impressed with the high quality
of design and effective communication."
In the Category of Exhibition Invitations, the Fleming Museum piece created for "An Eye Toward Nature," received an award for 3rd place.
The piece was designed by the firm Kaiser Dicken (Debra Kaiser and Craig Dicken) of Charlotte. The Museum also received
an Honorable Mention in the Membership Materials category for a membership information card that was created by Ion Design
(Mike Jordon) of Burlington. The Fleming Museum's PR and Marketing Manager Jennifer Karson was the project manager for both
designed pieces.
