THE FLEMING MUSEUM PRESENTS
SUMMER EDUCATION PROGRAMS AT THE FLEMING MUSEUM

What: The Magic of Water
When: All summer
Where: Across Vermont

Dive into a world of art as we explore the different styles used by artists to capture the changing moods of water. We'll look at images by artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Winslow Homer, and styles including Impressionism, abstraction, and Pop Art. Our visual tour will conclude with a watercolor art activity.

This outreach program is presented at libraries throughout the state as part of the Fleming Museum's ongoing partnership with the Vermont Department of Libraries summer reading program. Call your local library to check whether a program is coming to your town. Any organization working with kids can schedule a program. For more information, or to schedule The Magic of Water during July or August, please call the Fleming Education Department at 656-0750.
