The Fleming Museum Presents
RAVENS, TREES & BUMBLEBEES

FLEMING MUSEUM'S COMMUNITY FAMILY DAY CELEBRATES 20TH YEAR

Burlington, VT – This season the Fleming Museum celebrates 20 years of its popular event Community Family Day. Taking from the Museum’s fall theme An Eye Toward Nature, this year's Family Day entitled Ravens, Trees and Bumblebees will explore the intersections of art and nature. Targeted at children ages 4-10 years old and their families, this special event includes a variety of art projects that will stimulate children’s creative curiosity about the natural world.

Ravens, Trees and Bumblebees participants will have the opportunity to interpret the natural world through an inviting mix of hands-on activities, artists' demonstrations, and explorations in the galleries. Activities include creating nests, painting birds’ eggs, drawing detailed botanical pictures, and experimenting with Chinese brush painting.
