Fleming Museum offers Art Adventures

BURLINGTON- Robert Hull Fleming Museum presents "Art Adventures," an exciting multi-week program for children, ages 6-11, to explore the visual arts in a fun environment with professional instruction. Whether your child loves art or is just curious to try something new, these classes offer individualized attention and the chance to experiment in a variety of mediums, such as painting, drawing, sculpture and collage. Under the supervision of University of Vermont instructor Lisa Brunini, M.Ed., UVM art education students teach the classes for two separate age groupings.

The class for ages 6-8 takes place on Wednesdays from 3:30 through 5:00 p.m. and begins September 6, running through October 11. A second class for ages 9-11 begins on October 18 and is also held every Wednesday from 3:30 until 5:00 PM through November 29. At the conclusion of each series of classes, there will be a short reception beginning at 5:00 p.m.
