Contemporary Voices from Vermont

New England Gallery

This spring we have two new additions to the Fleming's Contemporary Voices from Vermont series: Pat Adams's Be/Hold, 2004, and Laurie Sverdlove's Field Artillery, 2011. These works join Eric Aho's Vow, 2010, on view since last year. Our New England Gallery features chiefly 20th-century landscape paintings from the Museum's collection, the majority of them by Vermont painters. Each year, as part of our Contemporary Voices from Vermont series, we select works by three Vermont painters to include in the Gallery. All three works will be exhibited through the spring of 2015. We are grateful to the artists and to DC Moore Gallery for their generous loans of these works.

The Contemporary Voices from Vermont series can be found in the Fleming's New England Gallery, located on the Marble Court balcony.
