The International Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta was founded in 1848 by six young men who were students at Jefferson College in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, (now known as Washington and Jefferson College). We currently have over 140 chapters at the foremost colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. Since our founding, over 150,000 young men have joined our ranks in Phi Gamma Delta.
Our International Headquarters is located in Lexington, Kentucky, less than a day's drive from over half of our chapters. The headquarter's staff includes five recent graduates known as Field Secretaries who visit each of the Chapters twice each year to advise us and Graduate Brothers in all areas of Chapter operation.
