Community Service Committment
The Beta Upsilon Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta has won the Community Service Award from the University of Vermont Inter-Fraternity Council for the past three years in a row! We regard community service as an obligation to the world we live in. We do not do it for the applause of others, nor for recognition, we merely do it to make a difference in the lives of others.
Our biggest Community Service fundraiser, Phi Gam Slam, a three on three basketball tournament to benefit a local organization is held every spring semester. This year we hope to raise money to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Burlington.
