University of Vermont

Hi, my name is Frank Burns, and I am a first year student at the University of Vermont. I am studying Elementary Education with a concentration in Human Developement and Family Studies. Feel freee to look over everything on this page. Enjoy!

Here I am in my Edel 11 class. Not a bad picture if I do say so myself. Let me tell you a little about myself. I grew up in White River Junction Vermont. My father is a fire fighter for Hanover Fire Department in Hanover New Hampshire. My mom is an office manager of A.B. Gile Insurance. I wasn't alone in the house though. I also have to sisters. Karen went to The University of Vermont as well, and now resides in South Burlington. Jainice, married her highschool sweetheart, and now lives in White River Junction with her two children, Corina and Jocelyn.

I started my education at Hartford Memorial Middle School. This is where I got the inspiration to become a teacher. This is where I developed my philosophy for education. Education should be taught with humor in mind. Check it out!
Then there was High School. The place of ever ending socializing! I loved every moment of it. Hartford Highschool is known for its sports & academics. Take a look!

In High School I was given a number of opportunities. I new that Iwanted to be a teacher so I worked at a local elementary school. There I was given the experience that I new I would need later in life. In working there I was able to get a better under standing of what being a teacher means. Come on in
Then the biggest and most dramatic change in my education... COLLEGE! WOW! I decided to go to The University of Vermont. This is where I am now, and I am study Elementary Eduacation and Human Developement and Family Studies. I love it so far, and being here has given me the chance to experience a whole new world. I have to admit, that one of the best parts of being here is the dancing with my friends!
It's so cool

But, enough about my education, lets talk about me! I spend my summers in Enfield New Hampshire. There I spend my time with friends and family and most importantly, my DOG! She is the best. She is my confidant. What do I like to do? Here are my top five favorite things to do.
