RACC
Research on Adapatation to Climate Change

Vermont EPSCoR’s RESEARCH is on the Lake Champlain Basin: how changes in climate are affecting the health of the Lake and how policy can help us to adapt to the future climate in the Basin.

NEWRnet
North East Water Resources Network

Project Overarching Objective:
To develop an integrated network of advanced water sensors to acquire real-time, high-frequency water quality data that will advance our understanding of the drivers of local and regional water quality, and in concert use the fields of experimental economics and agent-based modeling to determine how stakeholders as individuals and groups respond to this new technology.

CWDD
Center for Workforce Development and Diversity

Each of these research programs has important EDUCATION OUTREACH programs for workforce development and diversity administered through the Vermont EPSCoR Center for Workforce Development and Diversity at Saint Michael’s College.

We have two research programs funded by:

RACC -

Research on Adaptation to Climate Change
In the Lake Champlain Basin

Research on Adaptation to Climate Change that employs state of the art sensor technology in the watershed and Lake, complex systems modeling, integration of models and work with stakeholders to predict future climate scenarios for the Basin.

NEWRnet - North East Water Resouces Network

The North East Water Resouces Network allows us to collaborate with Rhode Island and Delaware EPSCoR programs to stream data in real time from sensors in the Lake and watershed for use by policy maker and experimental economics studies to determine how best to present these large data sets to stakeholders.

CWDD - Center for Workforce Development and Diversity

Each of these research programs has important EDUCATION OUTREACH programs for workforce development and diversity administered through the Vermont EPSCoR Center for Workforce Development and Diversity at Saint Michael’s College.
