Dr. Pamela Brown - Program Director, Division of Undergraduate Education NSF - Biographical Sketch


Pamela Brown is currently serving as a Program Director for the National Science Foundation (NSF). Programs she support include Advanced Technological Education (ATE), Mathematics Science Partnerships (MSP), STEM Talent Expansion Program (STEP), and Transforming Undergraduate Education in STEM (TUES). She served as the Dean of Arts and Sciences at New York City College of Technology, a branch of the City University of New York, from 2005 through 2011. In that capacity she was the Principal Investigator (PI) or co-PI on five NSF grants, totaling over $3 million. Prior to that she served on the faculty in the Chemistry Department. A chemical engineer by training, she earned a PhD from Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, NY.
