Application - Graduate Students


Six Graduate Research Assistantships are anticipated at the University of Vermont as part
of a new research study of Adaptation to Climate Change in the Lake Champlain Basin.
We seek students who wish to train and carry out PhD level research adaptation to
climate change in teams that combine lake ecology, watershed ecology, land use
management, numerical modeling, policy and social modeling, and modeling of complex
systems. The teams will include faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, and stake
holders in order to address research questions about adaptation to climate change and
develop an integrative assessment model.

Qualifications: a BS or BA in a relevant discipline.

Individuals selected will be expected to interact substantially across the project. Start date
January 1, 2012, or as soon as possible thereafter. We will begin reviewing applications
on October 1, 2011.
