Directions to the DoubleTree Hotel, Burlington Vermont
Proceed straight up Main Street ( US Route 2 East approximately 2 miles. Cross over I89 Interstate staying on main road, name changes to Williston Road. Go through 2 traffic lights after crossing Interstate ( approximately .10 mile ). Doubletree Hotel Burlington is immediately on the right.

Left out of airport parking lot onto Airport Dr. Proceed straight to traffic light and turn right onto Williston Rd. (US Route 2 West) and continue 1.5 miles to trraffic light for the entrance to the Doubletree hotel on your left.

Directions to the University of Vermont

The University of Vermont is accessible by water, air and land: UVM is 100 miles from Montreal, 220 miles from Boston, 290 miles from NYC, 145 miles from Albany, and only 3.5 miles from the Burlington International Airport. You can also reach us via Vermont Transit Bus lines, Amtrak (to Essex Junction, Vermont, 15 minutes from UVM), or by ferry across Lake Champlain from New York ( http://www.ferries.com ). Please note that some ferry service is seasonal.

From I-89: Take Exit 14W into Burlington. Head west on Williston Road up hill (Williston Road becomes Main Street). At the intersection of Main and South Prospect streets, turn left. The Admissions Visitor Center is located one block south at 184 S. Prospect Street. It is a red building set back from the road on the left, with parking in the rear.

Heading north from Route 7: Follow Shelburne Road/Route 7 into Burlington. At rotary, bear right onto South Willard Street/Route 7. Travel less than 1 mile to intersection with Main Street (Route 2); turn right onto Main Street. Head uphill to Prospect Street; take right onto South Prospect Street. The Admissions Visitor Center is located one block south at 184 S. Prospect Street. It is a red building set back from the road on the left, with parking in the rear.

Please note: The Crown Point Bridge across Lake Champlain, a major link between New York State and Vermont, is currently closed, and it may lengthen your trip time if you take a ferry across the lake. It is recommended to avoid any lake crossing and enter Vermont south of Lake Champlain in the Lake George region. You may also want to consult an online map program such as Google maps. Basic directions from the Adirondack Northway (I-87) are below:

From the Adirondack Northway (I-87): Take Exit 20 toward Fort Ann/Whitehall, NY. Proceed north on Route 9 to Route 149 East, headed to Fort Ann, N.Y. In Fort Ann, take Route 4 North to Route 22A in Vermont toward Vergennes. Follow Route 22A North through Vergennes, then follow Route 7 North into Burlington. At rotary, bear right onto South Willard Street/Route 7. Travel less than 1 mile to intersection with Main Street (Route 2); turn right onto Main Street.
