Jared Alvord
"Jared Alvord, a junior ENVS major, was a pretty good high school student-athlete and performed his share of community service while growing up in Plainfield, Mass. While that record helped him secure a spot in UVM's class of 2010, Alvord didn't exactly relax — comfortable in his successes — once he got here. The track and field star, academic standout and recipient of multiple community service awards has continued to challenge himself in each of these areas on — and off — campus."
