Environmental Program Requirements
UVM students can major in Environmental Studies (ENVS) through the following four units within the University:
  • College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
  • College of Arts and Sciences
  • College of Education and Social Services
  • School of Natural Resources.

While there are core courses in common for all Environmental Studies majors, the ENVS major requirements for graduation are different in each college. And each college has different "general education," or "distribution," or "core" requirements. Please refer to the UVM catalogue for the college requirements and specific information about the ENVS major and minor in the sections on each of the four colleges.
