VERMONT RIVERS AND STREAMS ANNUAL SUMMARY

E. coli monitoring results of rivers and streams in Vermont are grouped by watershed.  Percent violations for all sites and dates within each watershed are summarized by year.  Not all watersheds were sampled every year.  All watersheds had violations in every year they were sampled.  For most watersheds, the highest percent violations were in 1995 which had a relatively dry summer.  Since sampling dates and conditions vary, direct comparisons among watersheds are misleading and therefore, watersheds are not identified on the figure below.
