The major requirements are consistent regardless of the college/school of enrollment, but first-year programs as well as elective and distribution requirements vary depending on the college or school.
Students take a common set of courses in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and geology or plant and soil science. A common set of environmental science core courses is followed by specialized courses in one of the chosen nine focus areas.
A typical first-year student would enroll in the following courses:
*PLUS any additional courses to meet the degree requirements in their college or school (ie: a TAP seminar in CAS or NR 1 in RSENR or AGRI 1 in CALS).
