Contact the Dean’s Office of the college or school to which you wish to transfer (see contact info below) and make an appointment with an advisor in that office to review your transcript and determine how your coursework to-date will apply towards the degree requirements of the college/school. Then, if you wish to move over to that college/school, you will need to fill out a transfer application and, if you meet the requirements and are accepted, you will become an ENSC major in that college/school and assigned a faculty advisor in that college/school.
If you know the college or school in which you wish to pursue the ENSC major, contact the Dean’s Office of that college/school and fill out the paperwork to change your major to ENSC (if you are remaining in the same college/school). If you are considering changing to another college/school at UVM, follow the procedure outlined above for switching colleges/schools. If you are interested in changing to an ENSC major, but are not certain as to which college or school in which you would like to enroll, contact us directly (Environmental.Sciences@uvm.edu) We would be happy to review the options with you.
If you attend a college or university other than the University of Vermont and would like to transfer to UVM and into the environmental sciences program, you should contact the Dean’s Office of the college/school in which you wish to enroll and begin the assessment process to determine what coursework is transferable. If you do not know which college/school at UVM in which you would like to pursue the ENSC major, contact us directly (Environmental.Sciences@uvm.edu). We would be happy to discuss the options with you.
