Energy Management

Track Energy Usage

A graph representing UVM's electrical consumption since 1975, with trend lines comparing actual consumption versus hypothetical consumption if we didn't invest in a robust energy conservation program. Click here.

Using Schooldude to Lookup Energy Data

Schooldude is a utility tracking software used by UVM Physical Plant to track all of the energy use on campus, including electricity, natural gas and water. Each month, Physical Plant staff enter current data into Schooldude based on actual utility usage and consumption. Students doing research for class projects may access this data directly via the website portal.

Use this tutorial for directions on how to access data via a guest login to generate and download custom reports for your project.

Davis Center Monitoring System

Another way students can track the "real time" energy usage (electricity, natural gas, water, etc) data for the Davis Center is through the Building Dashboard by Lucid Technologies. Access the Davis Center Building Dashboard here.
