Ebola

The Emergency Operations Group at the University of Vermont is following developments related to the Ebola virus in West Africa as well as in the United States. In line with CDC recommendations, nonessential private travel to Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Liberia is strongly discouraged, and university travel to these areas should be postponed until further notice.

Information regarding U.S. colleges and universities, as well as information for individuals who have traveled to these countries and have recently returned, can be found here: wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/page/advice-for-colleges-universities-and-students-about-ebola-in-west-africa.

Students who have concerns about their health may reach student health services 24 hours a day by calling (802) 656-3350. Faculty and staff with concerns about their health should contact their primary care clinician.
