Lake Champlain

one of many natural areas near campus that serve as living laboratories

The study of Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Biology at UVM brings together scientists from many departments and programs across campus. Our interests range from developmental genetics to ecosystem processes and from pure theory to applied conservation ecology. All of us have a common interest in the way organisms interact with their environment. Together we offer several seminar series across campus, and a broad array of research expertise that is world-renowned.

For Prospective Graduate Students

Interested in pursuing a graduate degree at UVM? Graduate students enter the EEEB program through acceptance in individual departments where they work closely with their faculty mentors as part of a lab team. Contact potential faculty mentors in advance to discuss your interests and plans. You will then apply to UVM through one of our participating departments.
